On Wednesday, September 26, Atrion hosted an executive round table dinner event at the Capital Grille on West 51st Street in New York City. The event was cosponsored with Cylance, a leading cybersecurity company investing heavily in artificial intelligence to protect organizations and users from being infected by malware.
The event was an open forum to discuss the latest cybersecurity trends and issues, moderated by Rich Moore of Atrion and Rob Bathurst of Cylance. Throughout the evening, the topics that were brought up included block chain, cryptocurrencies, IoT, risk management, GDPR, government regulations and compliance. Rich Moore serves as Atrion’s CISO and Cyber Executive, with an extensive 25-plus year history in information security, cyber intelligence, and cyber risk, including 15 years in the United States Marine Corps Intelligence Community. Rob Bathurst is the Managing Director for Healthcare/Embedded with Cylance and is a recognized leader in the reverse engineering and strategic information security spaces.
For those that attended, it was an extremely informative and invaluable session as it’s not often you get the opportunity to pick the brains of two such highly-acclaimed individuals in cybersecurity. Atrion regularly organizes events throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. To be included on future invitations, please contact info@atrioncomm.com.
